Hello! Nice to meet you!
My name is Daisy Mae P. Garong-Sing.
I’m a lawyer by profession and a teacher by heart.
I am a licensed lawyer in my country after passing the 2015 Philippine Bar Examinations.
For the past three years, I previously worked as a City Legal Officer of our Local Government Unit in Cebu.
But, after I gave birth last July 26,2019, I have decided to focus on the private practice of law.
I am currently a partner at SING AND GARONG LAW, a law firm which I established together with my husband, Atty. Anthony Sing who is also a lawyer.
Our firm renders legal and consultancy services to both local and foreign clients.
Despite my hectic schedule as a lawyer, I always make time for my English online lessons.
Teaching has always been my passion and it makes me truly happy whenever I impart my knowledge and experience to my students. I have been an English as Secondary Language Teacher for more than ten years now. I started handling English lessons way back in 2008 during my senior year in college.
Before I pursued law school in 2009, I actually took up AB Linguistics and Literature with Professional Education at the University of San Carlos. As an English Major, I learned the intricacies and practical application of the universal language. I believed that having good communication skills is the hallmark of a great lawyer which is why I took up an AB English as a preparatory course for law school. I also became a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines in 2009. .
I have been teaching at Englishbuds for about three years now.
Being an ESL teacher has been a fruitful and rewarding experience for me. It feels great to be a part of the learning process of different students of all ages especially among kids and teenagers. We do not only study English but we are also having fun while learning at the same time. I am really happy to gain a lot of friends turned family in Englishbuds.
Of all the roles that I have in life, the most challenging and fulfilling for me is being a mom. My baby boy, Matthew who just turned eight months old is my greatest source of happiness and inspiration. He motivates me to give my best in everything I do. I always bring the cheerful and positive disposition that I get from my son during all my lessons in Englishbuds. It’s truly my pleasure to introduce him to my students. I look forward to seeing you all in class
