My Bucket List of Places to Explore and Dishes to Try Out in Japan. by Daisy
I have always been fascinated by the beautiful places to visit in Japan as well as the wide array of healthy and delicious food to try out in the country. Japanese rice dishes are regarded worldwide as among the best cuisines in the world. Travel and food enthusiasts around the globe come to visit Japan not only for its breathtaking tourist spots but also to enjoy Japanese food. They provide a different kind of gastronomic experience that people will definitely crave for. We would definitely love to try authentic Japanese sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, wagyu beef and many other delicious cuisines in the country.
Exploring Japan is part of our bucket list. My husband and I originally planned to visit Japan with our little boy were it not for the pandemic. We would have wanted to bring our son Matthew to Disneyland. Meeting the Disney characters in person and enjoying the day at the theme park was my childhood dream. After the pandemic and when it is safe to travel again, Japan is definitely our go-to travel destination.
Among the places that we want to visit in Japan are Mount Fuji, the statue of Hachicko in Shibuya crossing, Osaka Castle, Nara Park, Bamboo Forest, the shrines in Kyoto and other world heritage sites. We also hope to personally witness the beauty of cherry blossoms during the spring season. When we think of Japan, one of the first things that comes to mind is the incredible Mount Fuji which is an amazing place for sightseeing.
We also look forward to explore the amazing shrines in Kyoto and to appreciate Japan’s distinctive culture more. A frined of mine also recommended us to wander through the beautiful Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. She said that it is one of the most popular things to do in Kyoto. We can just imagine how relaxing it would be to take a serene walk along seemingly endless paths lined with towering bamboo trees that wave in the wind.
Finally, after visiting all the beautiful sightseeing spots in our bucket list, we also want to try relaxing in an onsen or hot springs in Japan. We truly look forward to visiting Japan in the future to explore its beautiful sightseeing spots, be in awe of the technological advancements in the country, try out some iconic Japanese dishes and most of all to experience Japan’s distinctive culture and tradition.
