Finding Nemo: Just Keep Swimming
One my most favourite movies of all time is Pixar’s “Finding Nemo.” I learned a lot of important lessons in life after watching this movie. It also made me laugh, cry, and root for the adorable characters in the movie. The move also inspires me to keep going despite all the challenges and difficulties that we encounter in our life’s journey.
“Just Keep Swimming” is one of the quotable quotes that I can never forget from this film. It has become like a mantra that cheers me up whenever I face various challenges in my career and in life. The movie basically talks about finding your own way in the world, learning how to work with different kinds of people and showed how families can bond and remain intact whether in good times and in bad. It was truly a meaningful film for me.
Aside from the lessons that we can get after watching the movie, Finding Nemo is simply an adorable and uplifting film that anyone can definitely enjoy and relate to. I used to watch it by myself when I was a student and as a young professional. Amidst the stressful schedule, watching “Finding Nemo” and other children’s movies can serve as the perfect antidote to a busy life. Now, I get to watch the film with my entire family especially with our son, Matthew. We had so much fun while watching and my son enjoyed looking at the colourful animation of the marine world. It so vibrant and engaging that it feels like we are also in the actual setting of the movie. Most of all, in watching “Finding Nemo”, I hope to share with my son an important life advice that I got from the film. One of the main characters, Dory said that “When life gets you down, you know what you gotta do? Just keep swimming.” It is very encouraging for me to watch. Hopefully, my son will also keep this lesson by heart. No matter how challenging life gets, I want him to stay determined and keep going until he reaches his goals and aspirations towards happiness.
”Just keek swimming.”も
