学校の休業も続いていますが

フィリピンでもロックダウンが解除されておらず

予断を許さない状況が続いています。

Happy Friday, everyone!!! Things are kind of rough for all of us these days, but I do hope that you are all doing great…
In my country, a lot of people really are having a hard time because of the lockdown due to the heightened number of people who are infected by COVID-19… Sadly, not all Filipinos have saved up some money that they could use when rainy days come…
As workers were left with no choice but to just stay home, many families are now hungry and desperate…

I truly am so thankful and blessed that my job as an online English tutor is not really affected by the enhanced community quarantine that is now being implemented in my province… I feel extremely lucky and happy that my family isn’t experiencing hunger in this time of crisis…
I am so grateful that I don’t go to bed every night thinking of where we would get food for the next day… But no matter how happy I am because of these reasons, I can’t help but feel bad for the people who aren’t as lucky as I am… My mom has 12 other siblings, and unfortunately, most of them are have to stop working and are just relying on the help that they could help from the city government… Many Filipinos are going out of their minds already thinking of what would happen if the government would decide to extend the community quarantine…

I always believe that it is our responsibility as human beings to help those who are in need… I don’t have a lot of money and I am experiencing financial difficulties too sometimes, but I should not let that stop me from doing my duty as a human… The help that I am giving to my relatives and other acquaintances is not really big, but, hey, no help is too small…
It is my way of giving back for all the blessings that I am getting… And I really want to thank you all, Mommies and Daddies, for your kindness and for letting your precious little ones learn and practice English with us… Thank you for your trust and patience… Thank you so much to my AWESOME and INCOMPARABLE students…
My students never fail to put a smile on my face no matter how bad some of my days are… They always inspire me to go on and do better…
You, MY LOVELY, LITTLE BUDS, are THE BEST…

And of course, Mommy Kayo… When things are not going well in my life, and when I seem to lose my way sometimes, you are always there to guide me and correct me… You don’t hesitate to get out of your way just to help me see things clearly… Thank you so veryyyyyyyy BIG…
I would not be where I am now if not for you…
I will work hard and I will do my best…

Everytime I am having problems, I always whisper this phrase to myself,”this, too, shall pass”…
It means that whatever it is that we are experiencing in our lives now will eventually go away…
Although life is giving us hard blows these days, I hope that we would all remain positive and hopeful… Hang in there and believe that better days are coming soon…
Let us try to see the good things in desperate situations like this… Think of how we could get to spend more time with our family and loved ones…
Oh, I even saw some news saying that because many people are staying home now and some businesses have stopped operating for a while, our planet is having time to heal itself…
Satellites are showing images of the earth with less and less pollution over our heads … Now, that definitely is wonderful, right?..

Thank you so very much again… I really wish everyone to stay safe and healthy… May we all have peace of mind and happy hearts…
