【講師コラム】ナイラ講師No.1～Self Introduction by Nyra～

Hi! My name is Nyra.

I’ve been giving lessons here in Englishbuds for about two months now.
And I can say that it’s life changing.

(Why? Well, I’ll talk more about this in my next blog. )

For now, I want you to know more about me, my appeal point.

I enjoy talking to people and love deep and meaningful conversations. One of the few things that I enjoy in a conversation is when people start talking about their passion and interest in life. It gives me glimpse of their uniqueness and individuality which makes me more appreciative of life. I also find shallow talks interesting and fun wherein I can just laugh about my silliness and some crazy stuffs.

I am a good listener too and you can always find in me. My hobby includes reading and inspirational, self-help, books and romance novels, watching movies / series on Netflix, checking out clips and performance of K-pop group, BTS💛 on Youtube, doing Yoga and travelling.

I travel because it gives me the greatest stories and irreplaceable learnings. One of my memorable trip was in Japan. I’ve experienced winter in Tokyo, spring in Kyoto and summer in Mt. Fuji, Shizuoka. My next dream destination is Aichi in autumn season. Of course, the highlight of my trip was being able to indulge with sumptuous Japanese cuisines. One for the books!

I’ve studied development communication and I also took up bachelor of science in marketing which provided foundation on my customer service skills on may I say good people skills

I have been working at the airport in a travel / retail industry for 17 years and it gave me and exposure to different kinds of people and nationalities. As a beauty consultant I am an expert in giving skin care recommendation and beauty tips. It’s all for free! All you have to do is reach out.

By the way, I can also speak Nihongo, Sukoshi Dake…(^^)
