【講師コラム】アダム講師No.10～ Group Class ～

We cannot deny that children are learning the English language in many ways. Just like in Englishbuds, a trusted educational institution, helps its students to learn the universal language in many ways such as free talks, story reading sessions, answering activity books, cooking lessons, debate classes, origami making, gaming sessions, Scientific discussions, current events, consultations, and many more. It is really good because kids can choose any ways to learn the language based on their interests.

When it comes to group classes, I handle the Kids Science club once a month and started to join Teacher in Fortnite class occasionally.

In the Kids Science club, students learn not only the right pronunciation of Scientific words but also the meaning of those terms in the simplest way that they can comprehend easily. The usual topics discussed in this group class are all about animals and plants or Biology. They also learn the purpose of the existence of every living thing. I am very glad and grateful everytime I see them nodding and I hear them say “Ah”, “I see”, and “I understand” because they appreciate what they learned something new and share what they know with everyone. It’s like hearing them say “Eureka!” or “Aha!”.

On the other hand, joining Teacher in the Fortnite session made us a great opportunity to share the lesson with more students where both teams can enhance the learning of the language by communicating with one another in terms of strategy formulation. Of course, we also teach students to establish good sportsmanship since the purpose of this group class is for a fun learning session. Each team learns from each other’s tactics.

If I will be given a chance to handle other group classes it would be news analysis and reporting, and game tournaments.
