No.24~Pondering Upon My Hidden Talents~

来ない・・・( ̄▽ ̄;

特急で書いてもらいました(^^;

私にはわからなくなってきた( ̄▽ ̄;

Pondering Upon My Hidden Talents

Happy Friday, Mommies and Daddies! It’s Teacher Mel again for today’s Englishbuds instructor’s blog entry! How are you doing these days? Is it spring season already in Japan? The precious little ones are going to have their spring break so soon. You must be so busy thinking about how you can make this short vacation much more fun for them.

         Anyway, Mommy Kayo informed me that the topic for the instructors’ blog entry this time is about our hidden talents. This truly made me think hard if I do have some hidden talents… I am sure that many of the old members of Englishbuds already know that Teacher Mel is a good singer ( oh, please do not think that I am bragging ). I really feel so blessed and thankful to God for showering me with a lot of talents. I can dance well, I am good at arts, and I am blessed with a lovely singing voice. Many of the people who know me asked me why I did not pursue singing as a career. Was it because I was a shy girl, or was it because I was not confident enough about myself? I honestly do not know why. But what I am certain about is I am truly happy about being an English teacher…

          Ooops! Back to the topic! When Mommy Kayo told me yesterday about the theme for the blog entry, I really kind of struggled to think of what I would be writing about my hidden talents… Hidden talents are those talents that you were not aware you have always had in you. So, I asked my husband and my son for help.

          My husband answered, “You have a way with animals — you can easily win them over.” My son thought really hard. Then he said, “You have this ability to bring in light-heartedness to your surroundings.”  I was really touched when I heard it from my son. I am used to hearing him always telling me that I am weird and hilarious, but it was the first time he said something really nice about me, haha! Thank you, Mommy Kayo for choosing this topic… Now I know Lyon does not only see me as a super funny and annoying mom 💜💜💜.

         I often hear people saying that they do not have talents. I beg to disagree…  We all have them — we all have them aplenty… We all have something unique and special to bring to the table. Find them in you, nurture them, and use them to touch others’ lives…          Thank you soooooooo very BIG again, Mommy Kayo, English Mommies and Daddies… Thank you for all your trust and support… I will continue to do my best to help bring out the best in your precious little ones… Take good care, and may the coming months bring all the colors of beautiful and kind to all of us…

Hidden
