Unveiling Hidden Talents: A Reflection on Teaching and Self-Discovery

Good day, Mommies and Daddies! It’s me, Teacher Madel! How are you doing these days? Are you all enjoying the Golden Week? I wholeheartedly hope so… It is scorching hot here in the Philippines. It is too hot that the Department of Education has once again decided to implement asynchronous learning. Children just stay home and attend lessons online classes or use printed modules to study by themselves. Would you believe that the heat index ranges from 47 to 53 degrees Celsius in many cities everyday? That’s just crazy, right?! I truly hope that this coming summer won’t be extremely hot for you all.

By the way, I was told that the topic for today’s entry is about Englishbuds instructors’ hidden talents. That made me suddenly wonder if I have one. I would like to be very honest about how I think and feel about this. Hmn… I honestly could not think of one, so I decided to ask my sister, Teacher Mel, about it. She replied, “What do you think?”, and I answered, “I am not really sure about that.” Then she jokingly said, “That is a big problem! You should just say that since it is a hidden talent, I think I should just keep it hidden? Hehehe!”

I read today that all of us are blessed with hidden talents that are waiting to be discovered and nourished. I also read that we often fail to recognize those amazing talents because we are so focused on proving ourselves to others or becoming better than others. Sadly, I think so too… And having been able to read this, I realized that my greatest hidden talent is just right at the tip of my very nose: that would be being a good teacher. I know I am not a great one, but I am determined to be one. I want to use this talent to help my students discover their own unique talents and nourish them. I will use this talent to make them feel appreciated and worthy of all the praises.

Thank you so very much for reading my blog entry, Mommies and Daddies! It is just a simple one, but I hope that you enjoyed reading it. Please always keep in mind that NO TALENT IS SMALLER OR LESS IMPORTANT THAN OTHER ONES. We all are unique, beautiful, talented, and special, never ever let anyone tell you or make you feel otherwise…

おー、これはアダムと似たパターンですね!

マデルは自分から

オンライン講師になろうとしたわけではなく

バズが業務多忙になっていく上で

彼女の意思とは関係ないところで

バズに組み込まれてしまったところもあります(^^;
