Good day, everyone!!! Wow!!! It is October already… I honestly feel like 2021 has just started… Do you feel the same way? I cannot believe that we are just 3 months away to year 2022…
By the way, it is already autumn in Japan, right? Do the leaves of the trees start changing from green to yellow? Is it getting colder already? How I wish we had four seasons here in the Philippines, too. Oh, but only with a much shorter winter season! Although I am dreaming of playing with snow someday, I cannot stand cold weather!!! I tend to get sick so easily when it gets a bit cold here.
Anyway, let’s move to our topic for today. I am going to talk about what I think about group lessons. I think that group lessons play a vital role in developing the participants’ confidence to speak in front of other people. Also, joining group lessons make them feel more inspired as they would want to talk and share their thoughts more. I have been teaching English online for many years now, and I have experienced handling group lessons a few times already. There are some children who really are so good at English and talks a lot during one-on-one online classes. But I noticed that some of those very articulate students tend to get really shy and quiet when they are in a group lesson. That is why I think that letting children join group lessons would greatly help improve their communicating skills.
I have been extremely busy since we opened this small general merchandise shop in our subdivision. Although classes are done online and through modular distance learning, my mom still has to go to school every day, so I need to be at the shop every morning on weekdays. But if I would be having group lessons, I would want to try doing arts and craft with the students. I have always been interested in making cute stuff and drawing. Story making would be awesome, too. I am sure many would really enjoy them a lot.
That would be all from me today, Mommies and Daddies… Thank you for always supporting Englishbuds. Thank you so much for letting your little ones learn and practice English with us. And thank you for sparing some of your time to read my simple entry. I always hope that you are all healthy and happy… Please take good care and stay wonderful…
