【講師コラム】ローマー講師No.12～Building Bonds and Fostering Growth～

Teaching, for me, is like a journey where I grow both personally and professionally. In my classroom, I focus on building strong connections with my students. I want them to feel welcome and comfortable, so I encourage them to share their thoughts. Instead of just being a teacher, I act more like a big brother to my students. I talk with them a lot, listen to what they think, and play with them, like they would with an older sibling. It is because creating a good relationship with my students is very important for me. Even though we’re online and far apart, I try to make our lessons feel personal. We laugh together, share stories, and learn from each other. This makes our classes fun and helps everyone feel more involved.

Flexibility is also a big part of how I teach. I use different methods like videos, activities, and real-life examples to keep things interesting. This helps students learn in their own way. I also believe in creating a space where it’s okay to make mistakes because that’s how we learn and grow.

Learning doesn’t stop when you leave the classroom, and I want my students to love learning. So, I try to make lessons interesting and show them that learning is a lifelong adventure. I also keep learning myself, staying updated on new ideas and ways to teach better.

To wrap it up, my teaching style is all about creating a positive and exciting place to learn. I want students to enjoy learning and feel ready for whatever comes next. Teaching is not just about sharing knowledge; it’s about growing together on this educational journey.
